Welcome to Helensburgh Bounce and Tickle

Bounce and Tickle is an established group for babies, toddlers and young children. The aim of the group is to advance the education and development of young children with an emphasis on using nursery rhymes, songs, story telling, physical activity and play.

As a charity most of our sessions are free of charge (although donations are gratefully received).

Each group is open to all mums, dads, grannies, granddads, child-minders…

Be the 1st to own our new bear - Bounce and Tickle is having a make over and we need your help!!

Bounce and Tickle has expanded with lots of new rhymetime sessions and other new projects. To celebrate this fact we have decided to re-launch the group under a new name that says more about everything we do. So we need your help - can you come up with a great new name that will lead the group into the future. If you can, you stand the chance of winning one of our NEW TEDDIES complete with the NEW name and logo - if you can come up with one of the best suggestions there are 3 bears up for grabs. The ethos behind Bounce and Tickle is educating children with FUN!!! In a nut shell we need the name to grab new parents, be something suitable for all ages of children and screams FUN. If you need more help with the projects we currently cover check out the links at the side , but remember we may add more in the future!!!!!!!!!!! May News:

  1. Bounce and Tumble will be starting 7th May. Get your placed booked!!!
  2. AGM will be held at Helensburgh Library on May 19th 10.30am. Please come along if you can, even if that is not your normal session.
  3. Bounce and Tickle is taking part in Fair in the Square on 31st May in Churchill Square. All the activity leaders will be hosting a FUNTIME session (which will hopefully be a mix of Rhymetimes, Storytellers and Bounce and Tumble). So come along and join the fun. If you have an hour or so to spare why not volunteer to help on our tombola stall email me at mail@bounceandtickle.org.uk if you can help. We are also looking for prizes for our stall, specifically items for children of all ages, all donations will be gratefully received at any session.
  4. Bookstart in Scotland day will take place on Thursday 15th of May. Come along to a Rhymetime session at the Victoria Halls 9.45am or Family Centre Churchill 1.45pm to take part in the biggest Rhymetime session ever. Other sessions all over Scotland will be taking part at the same time, so be part of this special event and join in on Thursday 15th May.
